Residential Sales has always been our specialist area here at Grays & Co. 2017 saw us transfer our successful letting business to specialist letting agent to allow us to focus almost entirely on residential sales. When starting Grays & Co. we wanted to make sure we offered a service which was both proactive in terms of its approach to sales (rather than a reliance solely on marketing) but also on communication, firstly with our vendors and then with buyers and other stakeholders in the conveyancing process. Our view is that while marketing generates enquiries, the way that we deal with those, or ability to proactively sell and then manage the process through to a satisfactory completion is how we set ourselves apart and look after our clients.

We give you the freedom to leave so you have the confidence to stay. We can’t tell you of the number of people who say ‘I didn’t realise how long I had to stay with them! They are no good, what can I do?'
Commitment: The way our business is set up, the way our staff are recruited, trained, managed and paid all contribute to their feeling of empowerment and value. There is no point in the directors being amazing if the staff aren’t. Office displays eye catching For Sale signs and high quality brochures all have their place as well. When our marketing attracts enquiries, the team get to work and make sure that we do all we can to sell the property enquired about or another one we have available - we are not passive in our approach.
People: The best of intentions are impossible to implement without the best people to deliver them.
