Beverley Branch

Once one of the largest towns in the country at the peak of the medieval wool trade and nominated as the best place in the country to live in the UK in a 2007 'Affordable Affluence' study (Royal Bank of Scotland),  Beverley is the county town of East Yorkshire. 

Blending historic and architectural charm, partly due to its strong religious background, but with a bustling economy, tourist industry, attractive racecourse and countryside; the town rapidly wins the hearts of all who visit.

As the home of the county council and being on the doorstep of Hull (it’s once much smaller neighbour), residential property in the town is much sought after.  There is a good selection of period property in the centre of the town with the Westwood & North Bar areas being particularly sought after.

Recent years have seen a significant increase in residential development so there is now an extensive range of styles and price ranges of property available. A collection of attractive villages of varying sizes and character surround Beverley, many with well regarded primary schools, local shops and amenities.

There is a good range of primary and secondary schools, a railway station and the town is well served with shops, supermarkets and other amenities.  Should you need more, Hull & York are popular destinations; Leeds, Sheffield and even Manchester can be reached via the nearby M62.
